Vintage Beach Metal Tool Box

This solid, classic metal tool box, in amazing condition, was made by Beach Industries Limited in Smith Falls, Ontario. In 1949, Russ Beach started a company with 12 employees making metal toolboxes. By the 1980’s Beach Industries Limited had become Canada’s largest metal box manufacturer, with 200 employees. Beach toolboxes could be found in the catalogues of Canadian Tire, Sears and Eaton’s. Mr. Beach sold his company to Stanley Tools In 1987. In 2008 Stanley closed the plant. A chance to own a quality working piece made by a proud Canadian manufacturing company.
