Vintage Disston No. 5 Keyhole Saw
$20.00
Henry Disston and Sons Keyhole Saw and Pad No. 5. Handle with replaceable blade. Blade is not the original.
Made in the USA, likely in the 1900s-1920s. The handle was patented in 1877. Earlier models had the date cast in rather than the name. Up until 1904, the catalog showed a flat thumb screw, not a turn-key. The last mention of knurled (rather than hexagonal) screw is 1929.
This saw has been restored and researched by members of the Ottawa Tool Library Vintage Tool Group.
